Misinformation is such a loaded word. These people can’t even tell you what it means. Like asking a teenager protesting against racism what specific racism they are experiencing

It’s an agitprop word. They can’t say disinformation as it would make them culpable to lawsuits for defamation.

Bingo, exactly this.

Accuse someone of 'misinformation' and nothing can happen, everyone makes mistakes and that isn't a crime. "Oh you're just misinformed, tee hee, CANCELLED!"

Accuse someone of 'disinformation' and suddenly that could be a major crime, deliberately saying false information for some agenda is potentially punishable by law, and accusing someone of doing such is equally punishable if turns out to be false.

Words are powerful, and the creeps we're up against know words all too well, pilpul.

Not only is it a loaded word - the blame is in the wrong direction!

Basic skepticism, internet savvy, and googling ability are tools most people should have at this point.

Bullshit will always exist, but this is the first time in history when the idiots who believe it aren't being held responsible for their gullibility.

Or worse they are being held up as heroes.

And Papa Elon or any 3rd party authority figure policing the bullshit for us will lead to young people not learning those skills, creating more idiots. We'll become even more a society of collectivist sheep that do what they're told and demand shepherds to protect us from big bad wolves. (that may or may not exist)

These people can’t even tell you what it means.

It means the same thing as 'racism', 'sexism', 'conspiracy theory'.

Anything the regime does not like.

Modern language thrives on "Broad spectrum words that have zero meaning besides whatever the speaker wants it to mean in that instance." Ever hear a zoomer call things mid, for "Something that I don't like"?
