Accuse someone of 'misinformation' and nothing can happen, everyone makes mistakes and that isn't a crime. "Oh you're just misinformed, tee hee, CANCELLED!"
Accuse someone of 'disinformation' and suddenly that could be a major crime, deliberately saying false information for some agenda is potentially punishable by law, and accusing someone of doing such is equally punishable if turns out to be false.
Words are powerful, and the creeps we're up against know words all too well, pilpul.
Basic skepticism, internet savvy, and googling ability are tools most people should have at this point.
And Papa Elon or any 3rd party authority figure policing the bullshit for us will lead to young people not learning those skills, creating more idiots.
