EA doesn't get to waltz in and get the money, the only ones they consistently got money from was sports video gamers as they had a death grip on the licences. Everything else people are EXTREMELY wary of as they're known to keep fucking up even when they have an easy win in sight.
As for this game, past works don't matter as much anymore, assume so long as it goes through any established studio there is a risk of corruption due to the state of the video game dev scene.
Who knows, I doubt it would be related to woke stuff but if EA could sabotage a competition to their remake they would.
I just don't see how, the problem with Calisto Protocol is the gameplay itself, the bugs and performance issues are minor grievances compared to that force melee and ugly monsters.
Fuck it, sounds good to me. There were so many shitty decisions made on that game that I want to believe it was intentional. It sucks because the art direction and setting are really cool.
Unfortunate, too. Josh Duhamel actually looked like a legitimate badass protagonist for once. Outside of Doomguy I can't remember the last time we had one of those.
It has the headmen that made Dead Space, yet somehow they forgot what made Dead Space so memorable?
Paraphrasing comment I've read on the internet:
In order to differentiate themselves from Dead Space, they made all the bad choices they've previously avoided.
Devs may have also self-sabotaged themselves by pushing visual fidelity above performance, given their deadlines. Not saying that profiling performance would be easy, but it could use a lot more manhours.

There's been a paradigm shift, too. In all things media.
Previously the mantra was: the medium is the message.
Now the medium has to have the message
Nah, it is just more likely that corruption spreads and thus even their skills becomes dull, since the tools of trade becomes the dogma instead.
I heard Schofield was notorious for crunch. He might have driven off some key people that innovated parts of the last game.
Well, Then I do not know.
You’d have to say the same for cyberpunk 2077 too but I believe that had woke elements?

Shit immediately started giving me motion sickness. Immediately. What is it with triple A games and their bullshit "cinematic" camera angles?
Yeah the globalists, and others, really don't want all the regular people noticing that their problems and desires are somewhat the same.
