A winner is here:
You mean unlike what you just did by unilaterally deciding to remove something?
Not shocked though, there's a lot of woke in Linux, especially here. I got rid of Ubuntu earlier this year for Fedora on my desktop. I'm sure they suck somehow too, but it's at least nice to have better updates.
As a big open source proponent , the major weakness in FOSS is these people like to get into moderator roles and then become the little dictators they’ve always wanted to be. Mods for anything should be thoroughly and painstakingly vetted no matter how insignificant the platform.
Ubuntu is named after bantu spiritualism. It's been woke since its inception and has only gotten worse over time.
I remember something when it came out about "computers for everyone" or some weird woke sounding principles.
Eternal September.
You know how environmentalists are green on the outside and red on the inside? Same thing for computers for everyone, but I don't know what color that is.
Rainbow LEDS on the outside, Compaq beige on the inside.
Used to be called "Red Hat" linux back in the late '90s/early '00s and the logo was a red fedora. Then was renamed to "Fedora Core" some years later.
It predates reddit by a decade.
They named it Red Hat, because Marc Ewing was always wearing a red hat around the CMU campus. So it was sort of his nickname. i.e. "the guy in the red hat, fixed my computer."
Remember that list of alternative news outlets when GG broke out? The ones that weren't carrying water for feminists and cultural marxists?
Sounds like there might be a good repo to add to your sources. In fact, if you're using the Brave package on Linux, you probably already added their repo. It would be an excellent host if anyone out there has the pull to get it done.
cracks fingers
"Only use this if you are not easily offended."
"I used this, I am now offended."
"Then fuck off, you weren't supposed to use it."
Should have been the whole interaction.
Arch > Ubuntu
I'm not too familiar with Linux and its variants anymore. Could someone tell me what fortunes is? More specifically, what is this one in particular?
It's a command line tool to spit out random "fortune cookie" like quotes. Yes, there's even a censorship czar for random Linux BS software.
It was never about them controlling what they see and read. It was about them controlling what YOU see and read.
faggot
