Because 'white people' don't base their identity on their skin colour. What's the things that come up when you ask a reasonable white person what they are proud of:
Their heritage (nationality like being part Scottish/Italian/Polish etc)
Their political viewpoint
Their family and their community
Their own actions in life
Unfortunately for black people, there's been a drive for decades by media, establishment and unfortunately within their own communities to base a shared identity based solely on skin colour. How many times have you heard black Americans praise their roots in Africa when actual Africans living today don't feel that much towards them.
That lack of a shared identity through a concept instead of just physical characteristics is what's caused the downfall of a many black majority communities.
Yea I’ve had to ask about the loyalty to africa when you are so many generations removed from it. And I’ve known African immigrants who flat out don’t understand why there is so much whining about racism when they set up businesses and work hard
I'm not proud to be white because I didn't do anything to be white. If anything, I feel an obligation to excel in order to live up to the high standard that my ancestors have set.
According to the Coalition of Communities of Color, I am a person of color despite being a 6’1 male with pale skin, freckles, blue eyes, and light brown hair. Sup niggas!
Why should I gleefully engage in hubris? Pride is a very dangerous thing.
I am not proud. I am humbled! Pride without merit is a sin no less self-indulgent than gluttony or lust. If I look at the actions of people in the past, I am often amazed, impressed, awed. If I look at the actions of myself, I can only find them lacking compared to the stellar examples of noble pursuits in history.
Someone who is proud of being an immutable arbitrary characteristic, is saying they're BETTER than all those who came before, because pride implies great personal accomplishment. It spits on the faces of others in that arbitrary immutable characteristic group, to say "I am not humbled, nah, I stand amongst the best on offer".
I am proud to be cut from the same cloth as many of the greatest men in history, and I will not allow myself to be weaseled out of that by overintellectualised discussions on the nature of pride
Nah you can be proud of all your ancestors have done and then do your own part to make the heritage continue on and still be great. It makes sense. You and your ancestors DID earn it.

Well, to identify with achievements, first you must achieve something worth identifying with.
They chose some really pansy white people, lol
I'm not proud to be white because I didn't do anything to be white. If anything, I feel an obligation to excel in order to live up to the high standard that my ancestors have set.
The white man’s burden.
God loved me more so he made me White, simple as.
Well since white people have been trained or brainwashed to think being proud of their race/culture is racist I could easily predict these results
According to the Coalition of Communities of Color, I am a person of color despite being a 6’1 male with pale skin, freckles, blue eyes, and light brown hair. Sup niggas!
"Many people who are White have experienced injustices as Italian, Portuguese or Irish immigrants to the USA."
Nice, how do you do my fellow niggas. Wait a second does it still count if I didn't go to the US ?
You have a tiny bit of African/Asian/Hispanic/indigenous dna? Is that why you are “colored”?
Just one drop, lol
Nope, I’m Slavic, which is considered a people of color
Oh yea. You did explain that

It's like saying I am proud to have two arms. I didn't do anything to achieve that so there is nothing to be proud of.

True, my ancestors built a city out of the desert. That is the great work that happens when white people get together and work for a common goal.
I have a duty to improve on that if I can, and at the least not spoil it.
There is more to it than skin color, it is the planning for the future that makes white people so damn good.
