And this is why menrights is such a joke. What they should be pushing for is the right to discriminate against women not "equality" bullshit.

All the "men's rights" subs on reddit have always been a joke, especially this one. Even the castrated MRA movement considered them all beta cucks back in the day.

They were always the "we want to be sensitive and able to cry, but we think its wrong women don't like us for that!!" type of Men's activists.

I got perma banned from that sub some months ago for "inciting violence" or whatever the actual term given was.

Because I referenced a thread made several months prior on that very subreddit about a woman pouring boiling syrup over her husband since it's pretty much like naplam and sticks to skin rather than just scalding.

To highlight, I was banned for bringing up something that was on the subreddit and could not only be read by anyone but had also been up for months by that point.

As mentioned in that thread, the Fair Housing Act explicitly excludes the core AirBnB business from its regulations. I can believe there are larger operations advertising through AirBnB, but if you're only renting your spare bedroom or holiday home that doesn't apply.

Doesn't it simply exclude if someone is staying in your house with you - like if you're renting out a spare bedroom or lower level in the house you live in?

Reading the law in question, for the purposes of this discussion you are correct: there is still an exemption when selling or renting out a second home, but not if you use a broker like AirBnB to arrange things.

Women can discriminate openly because telling homeowners they aren't allowed to be picky about who they let into their own homes would have been a poison pill that might have killed the entire bill. It's got nothing to do with them being women, idiot.

You waive the right to be picky when you put the place up for rent.

Only if you're renting out four or more units of accomodation. If you're just renting out your spare bedroom or your summer home, you are not subject to regulation by the Fair Housing Act.

Good luck, “good gender discrimination” is still legal. “Shetaxis” is still legal despite being egregiously sexist.

Shetaxis is defunct. It may never have really existed; as far as I can tell they disappeared off social media prior to their launch date.

Because “positive discrimination” was ruled legal, so far the most pushback has been in colleges because they are government funded institutions even then they have to prove something like over 60/40 in ratio discrepancies. Our legal system is a parlor trick lolbertarians cling to. I remember when they celebrated “gun right” victories in DC and NYC, just to have bureaucrats make it next to impossible to get licensed for a gun. I think DC still has 1 approved trainer for certification in a city of over 600k…
