I don't want IQ tests for voting, but basic knowledge tests would solve so many issues... Literally just a "Multiple choice, for the four major parties, here's eight statements as to their official stance on a single subject. Match the four correct statements to their parties."
And then just make four actual statements, and four mockeries that wouldn't be out of place on a parody show and very clearly a joke.
Like "On abortion..." [Write beside: Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Green]
a) Safe, rare, and legal to nine months.
b) Dead babies are a right to any and all woman-identifying bodies.
c) Death penalty for any doctors, and imprisonment in rape camps for any women engaged in it.
