any sex change interventions, like issuing puberty blockers, to minors and he is working on a bill that would ban the practice statewide.

This is far better than “sex change procedures” it completely cuts all of these horrendous practices off at the root. These “doctors” know kids grow out of it unless they get them on hormones and/or puberty blockers.

Every red state should be doing this. Every politician from a red part of blue state should be introducing such legislation even though it won't go anywhere. Make EVERY SINGLE FUCKING politician with a (D) next to their name go on record supporting mutilating children.

Every time they've done so, they've put in specific exemptions for male circumcision. Really shows you where there loyalties lie.

We all know (((where))).

But to steelman it a bit. If you ban male circumcision, it will be challenged in court and the very pro-religion SCOTUS would probably shoot the law down on religious liberties grounds.

Probably. It is interesting that the previous federal FGM law was ruled illegal because it didn't also ban male circumcision. The new one probably will too if it ever gets challenged in court. Maybe some judges have principles. Then again, judges just rule how they want and make up the justifications afterwards. It'll be interesting to see how these anti trans laws hold up when they inevitably get challenged.

The fact that we have to legislate something like this is baffling to me. The whole "do no harm" is just out the window with "doctors" these days.

It literally is out the window.

This was part of a special session bill to distribute funds before they went back to the feds, if I recall correctly. The real big 'ban' is coming with the new regular session in January.

Women deserve untrooned girl spaces to have their vapid, trite gossip-conversations just like men deserve untrooned spaces to discuss problems associated with all the weight of the world. Just like children deserve spaces to socialize without adults asking them to like penises.

He is right though that politicians who call for defending women's spaces never bring up those other things. It's only ever about women.
