In the last ~5 years, editors have flipped how colons work in headlines and it bugs the hell out of me. The proper use is "Source: Elon does stuff" because the source is saying 'Elon does stuff."
The way this headline is written reads "Elon's proposal says, 'source'" like a porn-addicted redditor.
I first noticed this on article rewrite sites like yahoo news and now it's everywhere. I'd hate to think "real" editors looked at content farms and said, "that's what we're missing, incomprehensible headlines!", but it wouldn't surprise me.
The whole reason they do this is to hide the fact that it's all fake bullshit madeup by one of their day-drinking gossip friends. If you put "Source:" everyone would know it was fake.
What I've heard is that Musk is likely to lose case, but what will the damages be? The judge could order him to buy the company, or could just make him pay damages for Twitter's 'pain and suffering'.
If the stock price is trading at near what he'd have to pay then the damage Twitter suffered is lawyers fees and whatnot, but if Twitter is at $20 then the damage is like $30/share.
So Musk has somebody leak that he's really doing it, stock price goes up, and court gives him slap on the wrist instead of ruins him.
Yeah but damages from having to buy Twitter would be like $50+ billion because it'll be worthless if he buys it.
The three letters won't let a single guy own their biggest propaganda tool, as a private company with basically no rules on what he can do, so they'll either destroy it or him.
Is this because you're Team Ferrari, because you hate electric cars, or because of your brilliant insight that Elon, like DeSantis, is being bribed and blackmailed by the womens?
"Sources" need to verify this information. I refuse to believe anything from an anonymous source anymore.
Yeah, considering Elon's tweet history so far, I doubt he'd keep that kind of thing secret.

Twitter stock price rose $7 today
Someone dumped their shares today.
You'd think the editor's had bottom surgery and therefore have : decay.

I believe damages would be at least $1 billion.

Seems like Twitter's stock price shot up today to over $50. It may be that investors believe this.
Oh, good, I'm gonna sell
What is he scared of?
Now I want the trial. Make him squirm.
Cringe.
Yes, Elon is cringe.
He should stick to selling broken promises and overrated shitty cars.
Is this because you're Team Ferrari, because you hate electric cars, or because of your brilliant insight that Elon, like DeSantis, is being bribed and blackmailed by the womens?
All of the above, plus him being team Amber Heard.
So am I.
She did more damage to feminism than you could hope to do in a lifetime.
No, no, he supports that she's innocent.
She pushed what women do secretly into the mainstream because of her own massive anger. It's kind of funny. I'm surprised they don't hate her.
So do I.
She should definitely get another trial, at which she can repeat her performance.
