It's a meme to dunk on shitty movies that ruin the source material/fandom. Started with Morbius
The funny thing is, Sony apparently fell for the fake praise and brought the movie back into cinemas after it bombed ... and it bombed a second time.
I just watched this video from Itsagundam explaining the whole Morbius thing yesterday: https://odysee.com/@ItsAGundam:8/morbius-2-it's-morbin-time-%E2%94%82-explained:e In case anyone wants to get caught up :D
At this point people should def. sub to gundam. He's probably the funniest guy still left on youtube. It's a crime he has not had a show yet but if you're anywhere right of Mao you are an evil nazi sadly.
Watch on Odysee
Duh, if a creator is on it better go on there. Website is thankfully very usable and has a lot of people I follow in general already on there. I meant my prior comment more in the sense of that he is still on there as opposed to others who got nuked off of it.
These over the top parody reviews are not even that far off from actual reviews but shills and Twitter weirdos
My favorite part was when Ariel said "It's Mermaid time" and morbed all over the place. It really reminded me of the cult hit Morbius and the masterpiece that was the "Morbin' time" scene.
And then everyone clapped.
There's a theory that these are the comments that rise to the top because whatever algorithm/sweatshop they're using to suppress negative responses is bad at detecting sarcasm.

Та часть где Урсула сказала Себастьяну: "Ну что, будешь в жмурки играть?!" выдавила из меня скупую мужскую слезу, воистину великая экранизация!
Hilarious. I honestly thought they were legit at first. Sadly you see this sort of gushing whenever something like this happens. Like the people who never watched Dr Who that all of a sudden loved it when there was a female doctor
Those aren't people.
is also a clever way to avoid censorship.
They're being sarcastic.
My favorite part was when Ariel stood on the bridge and shouted “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!” I still have goosebumps.
When Ariel went "Skywalker, Ariel Skywalker" I came a bit in my pants, such a powerful, yet thought provoking message.
Y'all be cray cray. The best part was when Ariel put on her sunglasses and said "Hasta la vista, baby!"
Chills for realz.
Who could have guessed that the She-Witch was actually Ariel's father? That was an amazing twist, and very progressive.
