Eh, his new song is just okay. Not my personal cup of tea. It's neither the next Bohemian Rhapsody nor is it the worst thing to happen to music. There's nothing really offensive about it, it's just safe, radio friendly emo-rock that would be more at home in 2008 than it is now. I really don't understand people shrieking about it one way or the other.
