I won't lie, Im rooting for the Russians on this one. It's transparently clear to me that the proverbial they seek to destroy the Russians just as they seek to destroy us. Which gives me one more thing in common with them than I have with any leftist.
That said, in terms of the war itself I really don't care if foreigners are killing each other in a place that isn't America. We certainly shouldn't be arming anyone involved, that's just a great way to end up as a co belligerent.
From my perspective this is an interesting military campaign to observe, and an opportunity to taunt the wicked about their failure and impending collapse.
You can even make the argument that anything short of total annexation is a form of victory for the Ukrainians.
But when I see people saying that Europe and America need to start arming them now for their future invasion of Russia I realize just how deluded they really are.
Well that's the part where you ought to separate the people of the country from their largely foreign owned, corrupt leadership. What constitutes a victory for either one is very different.
Same thing with the old Soviet Union. I bore no ill will to the people stuck living under that regime.
Now there are nations in which such sympathy wouldn't really apply, islamic countries for example, but those nations also aren't typically owned by the usurists either.
I haven't seen any Ukrainians say that. In fact, I haven't seen much of anything from regular Ukrainians. Just a bunch of Americans and Europeans pontificating on a war they'll never have to fight.

Haven't heard them say what? That victory is separate from what their government considers victory?
