Cloudflare is the biggest unknown evil. In bed with google and acting as gatekeeper and man-in-the-middle just about everywhere. Also way too strict in their settings or advice to site-owners. Can't use VPN, can't use TOR..what's next? Can't use adblock?
I don't understand what's stopping a big competitor from emerging. (though I know there's some smaller companies, and the big cdns have their own services)
I know you need to invest in a ton of fallback server infrastructure around the world, but technically what they solve is an understood problem.
