The Terminal List features Chris Pratt going vengefully homicidal due, in part, to a serious mental condition in Amazon’s latest, which follows in the tradition of Jack Ryan and Jack Reacher by delivering gung-ho macho action-drama tailor-made for fortysomething Call of Duty players.
Imagine being so out of touch with American culture but being paid to write about it as an “authority”
It is a series based on a book, and its a pretty standard lone dude gets revenge on the evil bastards that killed his friends and family story. The fiction isle in your nearest library is filled with military thrillers like this. I found the writing of the book pretty pedestrian, but the series it starts is pretty popular, so Amazon made a mini series out of the first book.
I binge watched it last night, after sailing the high seas, and it deviates from the book pretty significantly, but not enough to majorly change the plot. The gun handling is pretty on point, Chris Pratt looks like he's had a lot of time behind an AR-15. No look magazine changes are something you have to practice.
They get so butthurt when somebody has the gall to create popular entertainment that isn't anti-American, anti-masculine, leftist propaganda. You love to see it.
I started watching this last night. It isn't spectacular so far, but it's kept my attention. There's some pretty good gun action.
I thought at first they might be going for a twist where it turns out the protagonist is actually delusional and just murdering random people, but that would have been odd, given that the author of the book on which the show is based is an ex-SEAL.
Anyway, shit gets real, and Serious Chris Pratt starts murdering the hell out of bad guys.
The most unrealistic thing so far is there is a reporter character who actually cares about the truth.
I mean, I can only suspend my disbelief so far.
Also, if you've ever wanted to see James Gunn choked out with a plastic bag, now's your chance.
The only way this could have a better premise is if he got drummed out by the trannies and pedos in charge now for not being in line with their pussifying of american armed forces.
"whelp, I'm sold!"
That's awesome.
"Thanks for getting me to vote for him!"
God damn it, I need to know before I decide to vote for this man. Don't be a cocktease, DGA, deep throat it or get off, bitch.

That "review" is so salty I'm going to give that show a try. (Edit: Oh no .... I dropped something.)
On a related note, he's shitting on Luois CKs movie Fourth of July on Twitter ... a lot. Guess I'll give that a try, too.
The guy MeToo tried to cancel? Yeah, they really want that to stick, and he's just stubbornly continuing to make a living.
Sounds good to me! Can't wait to watch it. Pratt isn't the best actor by any stretch of the imagination but he's at least fairly entertaining.
The shitlibs want to cancel Chris Pratt because...
... he's not ashamed to be Christian?
yeah, okay. I wonder why that Red Wave is coming.

It's just a John Wick clone, don't take it so seriously.
It's entertainment, it's not supposed to be taken too seriously.
