With all the protesting going on, do you think this will be another summer of love, or will people be fed up with it and push back? Just like the Floyd protests, they have the backing of the media and of course there is no hand wringing or pearl clutching about the "insurrection" at the Arizona capitol building. Thankfully in my part of Texas it has been quiet and peaceful but I feel sorry for those whose lives are being disrupted by a bunch of crybabies and thugs.
My dad used to tell me two things that annoyed me at the time but as I got older I learned to appreciate. Life isn't always fair and The world owes you nothing. As Clarence Thomas said, the court doesn't exist to tell you what you want to hear. Abortion is a state matter. If you are so bothered by the ruling then by all means move to a state that is liberal on abortion. I'm also confused because so many are acting like there is nothing that can be done to prevent or reduce the risk of pregnancy, or maybe men and women can use a bit more discretion when it comes to who they sleep with.
I just worry that we have an entire generation that has been encouraged to become violent when they don't get their way about something and the elites and media will egg them on from the safety of their gated communities.
I remember when Jan 6 happened my left wing cousins wouldn't let me hear the end of it. I simply told them that those who broke the law should be punished (didn't know at the time they would be held indefinitely) but they had no room to talk since they didn't say a peep about the Floyd riots and some even used the idiotic reasoning of "they have insurance" or "its about civil rights".
My biggest fear is one of the justices will be physically attacked and the media will bend over backwards to justify it.
What do you think? Are we in for another summer of love?
Not on the same scale, no. Last time around, an awful lot of very dark money went into logistical support: Transport, communications, equipment, lodging, food & drink, etc.
It was a destabilization/demoralization campaign. I don't think there's the same interest this time around, because it can only hurt the reigning regime.
True. Although I though the Floyd riots would hurt Dems
In reality, they did. Hence why Donald Trump had the highest amount of valid votes of all time.
He just couldn't beat the "Most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics".
People were also bored from lockdowns and all the institutions gave them the go-ahead to go outside so long as they were burning buildings down.
Any turnout will be way lower without that
I agree, but it will be a lot more local. As the government and soros moneys continue to run out, unemployment numbers will decrease despite more assholes being out of work. You can't claim being a terrorist on an unemployment application. A depression is coming for Blue Cities the likes of which haven't been seen in decades. This is going to lead to some very interesting rising stars.
I was going to say this. It entirely depends on whether or not another summer of riots is useful to the powers that be. None of that stuff was organic last time, and if any kind of organic protest does occur in a way that doesn't benefit the money power in some way, make no mistake they will crush it before it gathers momentum.
Expect larges swaths of completely unreported domestic abuse by women. Women are going to lash out far more cruelly than you think, it just won’t be on the streets.
Even more than there already is?
I still think they'll go the medical "accident" route.
The idea of a woman being violent is laughable to me, but that may be because I'm Middle Eastern and don't put up with that sort of crap.
You're middle eastern and can't imagine a woman being violent?
The same middle east where some women join ISIS and blow themselves up in the middle of the market right? Can't wrap your noggin around that concept?
Ok dude.
Yup. Obviously, I mean aggressive and violent in daily life. Everywhere there's going to be women who commit crimes. But the level of aggression and violence displayed by some Western women, who get away with it, that's what I'm talking about.
Why? In part no doubt because they know people aren't going to give them a pass for violent and aggressive behavior.
My AR is saying "yes please", but my gut tells me no. I'm more worried about targeted assassination attempts or false flags.
Good point. These people don’t seem bothered by violent attacks
I'm wondering if the SCOTUS Roe v Wade leak actually dissipated the reaction by releasing the pressure over a longer period of time.
When the leak happened, the left freaked out, but it wasn't "official" yet, so they were doing idiot things like protesting outside the justices house, as if they had a chance to change the outcome.
Maybe by the time we arrived at the official ruling, they had burned off a bunch of energy, which may be why we're not seeing major acts of violence now. Yet.
It certainly was not a shock. Unless they could use the intervening 1.5 months to prepare something, it backfired spectacularly.
No, feminists are lazy and too cowardly to actually engage in real rioting thanks to their lack of sufficient melanin to engage chimp out mode.
If you think their coping and seething is bad now, wait until they get demolished this November, and then they can cope and seethe about 1/6 for 2 more years until getting wrecked in the 2024 election and losing full control of government.
Theyre gonna rig the elections again since they faced no pushback in 2020. If you want your vote to matter, make sure you become a poll worker.
Women should be banned from working the polls and counting votes - they have a clear and obvious incentive to cheat.
They should be banned from voting period. Theyre too emotional to make rational decisions.
I shouldn't be surprised, but I never would've thought they would still be going on and on about 1/6 18 months later.
50 years from now, marxist professors will be teaching classes entirely on 1/6
seems like overkill for a non-presidential election year but they might be so scared of congress flipping they will pull the trigger now
The presidency doesnt matter nearly as much as congress. Biden doesnt get to write laws, he just rubber stamps them and whoever his handlers tell him to nominate to the bureaucracy.
Women aren't really the type for mass violence because if they attack the wrong man, he'll beat them into a bloody pulp and have the right to do so as self-defense.
They are subterfuge oriented, so expect things like "medical accidents" and "accidental" poisonings.
So nice of you to think of me.
The problem is that by being afraid of them, you make violence more likely.
There will definitely be communist riots over roe, the question is whether or not people have realized optics do not matter when you dont control the narrative.
Unless someone dies because of some retarded doctor who cannot recognize a dangerous pregnancy like what happened in Ireland, I do not think so.
Remember nearly all the rioting happened in shitlib cities. This should be encouraged, not lamented or hindered. People need to get out of the mental frame where material damage to their enemies is somehow immoral or necessary to prevent, especially when it is self-inflicted on their end. Imagine rioting in commiefornia big cities for abortion. It is so nonsensically farcical on its face, and the right needs to resist the instinct to save them from themselves. Reminder even the rittenhouse situation happened in heavily blue area, and kyle would likely be doing life without parole right now if he actually hit that one exalted minority jogger he missed.
Violence is inflicted generally by young men (and in the Summer of Love, sometimes by young women covered by them). There just happened to be a lot of young men that hated the police. Not so here - they may like abortion, but they're not going to loot and arson for it. (Besides, Biden is President.)
They may burn down churches as in Canada in response to the 'mass graves' hoax.
