I'm not aware of any drugs that he could have taken that would have this side effect. The plastic surgery explanation would make more sense if this was caused by bacteria, but they're saying that it's caused by a shingles outbreak attacking a nerve in his face. I'm not saying the vax definitely caused this but I can't help but wonder if it did something to trigger the shingles virus. Typically shingles affects people over 50, so it's really odd that a dude in his late 20's is getting it.
