This one wasn't a troon. I posted a few threads on this case when the linebacker was first arrested and the catfisher was just a gay dude who rolled the dice on this scheme one too many times. I even predicted that based on the notable lack of a transphobia angle in the original article.
I might be misremembering but I think the gay guy kept the lights dim, and I know for a fact all he did sexually was blow the guy, which meant his clothing could conceal his manly body. So that's probably how the trapping scheme succeeded up until his encounter with this dude.
So yeah, regardless of whether it's a gay or a tranny trapping is about more than appearance.
The distinction I'm making is that he only claimed to a woman when he was trapping dudes. He never transed himself or claimed to be a woman outside of that.

I will say I think women do now outrank gays in most situations, so I'll give you one bump to women's hierarchy of AoV's list. But I think for the most part it's accurate, as far as women's ranking goes.
