Breaking: Judge Mark Jette has just found Ms. Jessica Simpson, formerly Johnathan Yaniv, guilty of assaulting journalist Keean Bexte (@TheRealKeean) while he was reporting for Rebel News.
Crown is seeking a suspended sentence of 16-18 months. No jail time, no weapons, no knives, counselling and anger management. Very similar to conditions Yaniv Simpson is already after the prohibited weapons case
Judge says that although Bexte testified to being punched in the head he could not come to that conclusion based on the evidence but did conclude there was an assault. Says Simpson (formerly Yaniv) says she’s a trans woman who has suffered from hard times due to coming out trans.
Judge continues reiterates Crowns defense that Simpson (formerly Yaniv) suffered after coming out trans including posts online from Rebel News and that contributed to lashing out at Mr. Bexte. And Simpson is “doing good things” in school working towards a career in law.
Judge says there are some rare occasions where a secondary cond. discharge is given. Says considering the above mentioned ie: Simpson’s (formerly Yaniv) young age, poor health, hardships to overcome, & aspirations, he doesn’t want to add the obstacle of a criminal record

But I would love to know Simpson / Yaniv’s secret to being charged with assaults, brandishing a prohibited weapon,uttering death threats, sending children explicit texts, video’s 3 alleged assaults on journalists & still receiving what the judge acknowledges is a rare sentence.
So in addition to the UK's pioneering right to rape for trans and muslim communities, Canada is re-taking the lead in civil rights by granting trans people the right to assault.
I do hope we don't find out if this extends to a trans right to murder, but honestly, given Yaniv's complete lack of consequences, I fail to see why they should not push their luck.
