For some reason the archiver can't archive article comments on this site, so you'll have to use the direct link to see them. They'll also probably shut off commenting when their censors realize they've lost control of the conversation.
On Brave browser if you hit ctrl & P you can print the webpage but save it as a pdf instead. Some sites allow also saving the comments, some don't. Might be worth a shot if archiving doesn't work. Then archive the pdf?
Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting.
I think Yahoo has shut off comments on all their articles for over two years now. I don't even bother clicking on the "view comments" button anymore. Are you saying they let an article slip through without disabling comments?
Hmm, I didn't know that. I assume there's no way to know except by clicking to view comments?
I gave up after months of just getting the "We've temporarily removed comments to make the world safe for hugs and kisses" blurb every time I clicked. I like how "temporarily" has stretched into years. I just assumed comments were gone and never coming back.
It's just a matter of scrolling down on desktop, but if you're on mobile then yeah that's the only way to know. They actually have been allowing it more often recently, but only on articles no one cares about. As we saw in this case occasionally they allow it on something controversial then shut it down when the comments go against their narrative.
I mean, I've seen photos of some SPLC or ACLU guy who's got a sheet counting down the white population of the US. And the UN has made suggestions of importing workers to offset a population decline. So the claims have some validity.
But I think that the people who want that to happen are just crackpot university types. So I hope rational people see what they want and take a stand against it.
That being said, that isn't an excuse for that shooter's violence, especially towards an unrelated group of people. There are a lot of normal people of all backgrounds, like Brandon Tatum. I'd be hard pressed to find minority groups who want their jobs to be disproportionately outsourced to people with no connection to America. And the killer was obviously too wrapped up in hate to see all of the normal people in life.
The claims have total validity. Democrats will tell you to your face that demographics are destiny. The only inconsistency is whether or not someone thinks it’s good or bad thing.
Personally I think we're going to be fine. A lot of Hispanics are realizing that Dems just want to let in the people who they worked hard to legally immigrate away from. We're flipping entire towns on the border. And as Ted Cruz points out, Hispanics are assimilating into mainstream American cultivated. People you would have never guessed (like Tim Pool) are Hispanic and leaning to the Right now.
There's always hope and the ability to create a brighter future.
You've the mindset of a 2015 r/TheDonald poster. Mexicans won't save you, the Republican party won't save you. I've said it for years now, but the right has no hope when so many of us take so long to realize obvious things.
Looks like they shut off comments, already

"Safe." Anytime the left invokes this word, beware!
Shoah'd harder than what the holohoax says Hitler did while he was doing nothing wrong.

Yahoo getting rid of their comments section made it completely worthless.
I guess they were mad because comments basically showed that their audience and the staff at yahoo differ quite a bit.
everything great replacers say is untrue? if so, refute them.

So what are you going to do about it? Quit doomposting.
