Well that comes as a surprise, really thought Blackrock or one of the other "investment" groups would come to rescue them. So now let's see if Musk actually means it when he talks about stripping Twitter of censorship and banning bots.
Blackrock didn't become trillionnaires by being dumb. If they can get good money for their share in Twitter, they'll just find someplace to invest in to disrupt society.
I imagine they'll go all in on Silicon Valley real estate when its value crashes in a few years' time.
And now we'll see Congress act with lightning speed to regulate social media.
I'm fairly sure OP had child porn being illegal as a default thing that won't get unbanned...
It's not about such illegal content being banned as much as it's about bots and fake accounts pushing disgusting content as much as possible to overstress the moderation capability of the platform and give examples to the media about how it's in the gutter and unregulated now.
True, but it's not like we give a shit about what the MSM thinks.
The MSM LIVES off of Twitter, for them to bitch about it is biting the hand that feeds them. Twitter is a private company, they're free to fuck off elsewhere. I mean, that's how it works, right? Heh heh.
Exactly

There are valid reasons to be wary of Elon Musk and his purchasing of Twitter.
Elon Musk is generally on only Elon Musk's side. He should not be automatically lauded as some true moral paragon willing to lose his own money to support freedom of speech.
If his purchase does ends up helping the right, good then we can build off that but let us not idolize or expect this man or any single man for that matter to be a savior to all of our problems.
We all need to do our part in fixing the mess we are all in. We cannot just sit down and wait for some savior to come in and fix everything for us.
I thought they might let him buy it since he probably is part of their cabal.
One has to wonder that if they are letting Musk buy Twitter, is Musk also just part of their big club and that this whole back and forth was nothing but a kabuki theater routine.
Would be nice if Musk actually was not part of their club and that he actually improves freedom of speech on Twitter but I am not optimistic for that outcome.
Regardless of whether Elon "Neuralink" Musk is part of the cabal or not, the left is going to seethe over this development. I guess that is something small to look forward to.
He's a wildcard, we'll have to wait and see. He didn't get to where he is by being clean but he sure is making some interesting moves lately.
Considering how many MSM outlets were bitching about Elon buying Twitter, I think he's the one billionaire who's kinda has one foot in the door of "the club" and one foot outside the door.
He's a globalist, yet he's not. He's for renewable energy, but wants a carbon tax, yet wants fossil fuels to continue...
I think Elon is out for Elon. Whether that’s good or bad is yet to be seen. Push for electric, renewables, and carbon tax while being the owner of the first ev company that is making a car that doesn’t look like it comes with a free vasectomy and a satchel. Buy a social media platform and stop it from censoring political discourse while everyone else doubles down. SpaceX grab government contracts from the arms industry for space by looking for ways of cutting costs and ways of reuse. All of this makes Elon more money. And I believe that’s where his motivations actually are.
It is a better thing than the current status quo, and that is a victory.
Oh for sure. He will probably be better than the current managers. I’m meaning for in the long run. Like if he pushes to remove the ability to be anonymous that would be a net negative.
It makes Elon more money while advancing his view of humanity.
I think the problem is too many people look too deep into Elon as some guy who has this evil plan to take over the world. I think despite his flaws, he wants to help people out, and unlike people like Gates, he wants to do it the "right" way (in his view) instead of the huge globalist shit that the other billionaires of the world supports.
He wants to make money and he just happens to do stuff for humanity along the way. THat's it.
Isn't he buying it in part with an equity loan backed by his Tesla ownership?
That right there would be a huge piece of leverage the Cabal could use. Threaten to tank the stock so they call the loan.
They didn't go all out to stop it, seems to prove that it's all drama and Elon is not our savior.
As if we needed proof that someone who defended Amber Heard wasn't a good person.
Doesn't need to be a "savior" or even a friend: just needs to be not on board with the program enough that more powerful enemies spend precious resources fighting him instead of oppressing me.
Yup. A lot like Trump. Obviously he was compromised or else he wouldn't have ever been elected. But it was enough of a shake up to expose the rot in society.
Welcome back
Welcome back btw.

These ridiculous false reports make me really tempted to just report every stupid remark about Jews until every member of ConPro has been deported back there.
The more you report, the more jannies you create. Just remember that.
Based jannie.
Agreed. They report my comments for the most inoquous things. I have screenshots showing how they are all about projection.
They say every single time. And yet, every single time we see them proving the groomers they are, that they ignore anything against their narrative and more.
They try to shut it down when we notice their behavior and more.
These idiots should be controlled like a proper border control. They should be subjected to the same rules the system they believe in have.
ImpossibleNothing!
WB!
How could they stop him, realistically? Their job is to make their shareholders money.
Didn't Yahoo's original CEO (one of the founders) famously refuse to sell to Microsoft at peak value, angering most of their shareholders? Then predictably the stock tanked. I don't remember if he got sued but it didn't stop him.
Watch out for apoplectic commies on the streets.
If nothing else more reeeeing could be coming, which is always good.
The marvelous thing about this story is how it ends like either Star Wars 2 or Star Wars 4 depending on which side you're on.
I think the left sees it as The Empire Strikes Back and the right sees it as A New Hope.
Also true.
Frankly I see it like Phantom Menace but I think I'm the only person who likes the gungan parade.
I would rather have the Gungan Parade over the Ewok celebration any day.
I thought the Gungan parade was memeworthy while I found the Ewok celebration to be kinda cringy.
I need to see some Twitter blue check salt!
And once they cope, Trump gets unbanned, and the salt shall ride again!!!
