Frank Langella fired for making a baudy joke on a Netflix set. Humor will not be tolerated! Joking around is no laughing matter, just ask their standup comedians. Don't worry, pedophilia is still okay. (archive.ph)

I mean I thought the point of comedy was that nothing was off limits. Granted, it still has to be funny. Being vulgar doesn't necessarily mean you are funny. I never thought someone like Hanna Gadsby would be seen as a great comic

She's not. She's a whiny cunt. To develop a sense of humor, must have hardships and self-awareness. NPCs have neither. So, if someone tells them to laugh, they laugh.

I remember being so puzzled when critics couldn’t get enough of her. She just spouts leftist talking points and hates men. And I always wonder about lesbians who hate men, yet try hard to look like one

The critics are paid whores, they'll moan when you tell them to. That and/or they were hearing what they wanted and were clapping/cheering that. You listen for actual laughter, gut busting out of control, you won't hear it. It's all nervous NPC chuckles, people laughing where they feel they are supposed to, fitting in with the crowd.

As for looking like men. They don't. They don't want to look like sexualized beings, as in, showing off their bodies. They do like to wear clothing that's comfortable and fits, aka, the same reason men wear clothing. Men just happen to wear the same style of clothing that covers their bodies and style of hair. That's fashion. At least, that's how they perceive it. Men's fashion is mostly functional, the appeal is to appear functional yet well-groomed. Lesbians don't think of men as sexual beings, so think it's a less of a "men's" fashion and more of a utilitarian fashion.

It was kind of funny the way she lied about being raped by a pack of abbos.

Being raped by them, forcing herself on them, it's easy to see the confusion. Those kinda people tend to project.

The point of comedy is to subvert expectations, but that doesn't mean anything goes.

He also reportedly touched the leg of a female costar while saying something along the lines of “Did you like that?” Sources later confirmed to Deadline that those incidents happened.

The way this is worded it isn't guaranteed this even occurred.

When was the last time you say "something along the lines of" followed by quotes in a professional article?

It depends on context and I think it's a generational thing and not sexual. I've noticed older people when sitting and talking will touch the upper part of the leg right above the knee in the same way you might touch someone's arm right above the elbow when standing- although that's probably not allowed anymore either.

Yeah, the military is the yard stick we should be using for normal human interactions...

About as dumb as your point that touching without consent is inherently wrong? The rules on touching and interacting with other people are entirely cultural. It's wrong to you, but why should anyone else go by what you think is appropriate? Hell, the appropriate level of touching is also based on your closeness to the subject, so simply saying "Clearly old man no-touchy, BAD!" is surface level assessment at best.

You referenced an anecdote from your time in the military as if that made your argument stronger, but the military is far from normal and damn well shouldn't be used as any kind of benchmark.

Inherently. If I tap you on the shoulder to get your attention, should I go to jail for assault or rape? You might want to try actually reading comments so you don't come off as such a smooth-brain, smug asshole.
