Nononononononononono... It's the producers "VeggieTales on the House". We're not talking about the people behind the original series, but the Netflix version with the hideous redesign and insipid writing that are akin to the dime-a-dozen Youtube Kids channels. The actual fucking talent for the franchise is currently working on The VeggieTales Show.
Such a disappointment. They had Doug Tenapel, Mike Nelson, Ethan Nicols, and so many other creative talents working on that show, and it came out like your generic, brainless kid's show.
That's because the people with an actual vision and the reason the series stood out in the first place, Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki, were stuck doing voices for their characters for VotH. For TVS, the two actually wrote episodes and the writing is way better. Not to mention VotH had like 6 dozen fucking people being led by Doug which likely resulted in a lot of "too many cooks in the kitchen".
Bab Bee and Veggie Tales seems fine, so hope this turns out well.
Sucks that the Daily Wire has this much money, tho. Wish people would give money to actual good opposition instead of fake controlled opposition bullshit.
In theory right wing media could do well by just being FUCKING NORMAL. I don't have terribly high hopes but if they just write fun stories for kids that don't have troons they'll have a winner. And I'm not saying don't be right wing; I'm saying at this point being normal and well adjusted IS right wing.
Anything successful acts as a beacon, drawing parasites to it. A healthy immune system is necessary to keep them out. That immune system has been branded "far right wing" to make people shy away from the concept of shunning parasites!
Same thing can be said to China and their great firewall. And at this point, I'm not so against it to implement something like that in my own country. You set up firewalls to protect your servers for the same reason.
Freedom of speech is a rich field where the strongest ideas grow. These parasites only succeed because healthy ideas have been uprooted or poisoned. The great firewall of China is like this, intended to choke specific ideas so nothing can compete with the Party.
Let me rephrase that: I think it will be the most ham fisted version of conservative childrens shows. I fully expect a character to turn to the camera and talk about the importance of small government for half an episode.
