I admire your optimism
There are a lot of based people who are only based because they are former Leftists.
The Greek word being translated to "meek" doesn't mean what "meek" means to us. It more closely means "one who knows how to use his sword, but keeps it sheathed"
Yeah, I think that the Conservatives grow up in a normal environment and think the Left are like them, so they think that the Left are normal people who can be reasoned with.
The former Leftists know they are short-sighted, power-hungry, delusional, lunatics who will literally eat normal people's children for power and are trying to defend the normal people from them, desperately trying to explain to Conservatives that Leftists don't even think like them.
It's a really annoying thing realizing stuff you really believed turned out to be false and a lie.
Case in point, Michael Crichton.
I can personally confirm. My burning hatred of leftists partially stems from the shame of having been one of them at one point, as well as an unwitting pawn of their global(ist) agenda. The rest comes from living in California all my life (thankfully that's changing in the next few months) and having up-close experience with varying types of Democrats locally. Long story short; Yes, Dem voters are as dumb and easily misled as the NPC memes suggest, and that makes them as dangerous as the monsters they elect.
Keeping in mind of LauriThorne's response, you still remind me of my dad; a literal Fox News boomer (just turned 60 last year) that only in the last 18 months is starting to realize just how bad things have gotten (going as far as to mourn that I won't get to experience the USA as he did). I’d been trying and failing to warn him of the long-term state of the USA since 2nd term Obama, and I don't like that it took Biden
stealingfortifying the election for it to finally sink in, but better late than never, I guess... On the other hand, he's turned to QAnon (see also: c/GreatAwakening) to cope with the shock of it all, and took the jab for the sole purpose of being able to attend music concerts of bands his age and older...canyoutellihavedaddyissuesI had the same thing with my family. Boomers who voted for Goldwater, Nixon, and Reagan are looking at me warning of the dangers of Socialism in institutions, and they tell me to calm down, until I start citing sources, and they slowly start to realize: "Holy shit".
All the things that we saw in 2014 have started emerging in every single environment, and that's when the boomers notice it. The SJWs appearing in literally every single sector of society including every professional, sporting, entertainment, literary, culinary, horticultural, recreational, criminal, and/or hallucinogenic sector that you can possibly think of.
They realize that some "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" shit is going down, and they're utterly surprised that I'm the radical rightist telling them how to fight it because... GamerGate.
Gizortnik's family: "Why don't the unions deal with these freaks?"
Gizortnik: "THE UNIONS ARE COMMUNIST SUBVERSIVES THAT WERE TAKING FUNDING FROM THE SOVIETS! THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE STOPPED ANYTHING! THEY HELPED STEAL THE ELECTION! THE JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY WAS RIGHT!"
Gizortnik's family: "... that is a name I haven't heard in a long time... a long time."
Honestly if you're still a narrative leftist at this point, there is no hope for you
You underestimate the power of propaganda.
