I just don't understand how that "draft" meme would become so widespread. No one thinks like that in Poland or the Baltics next door to the war zone, yet they instantly panic over it and believe they're going to be "sent to war".
And honestly, America badly needs a compulsory military service. But only old style, making real men out of boys (direly needed for all these "gender nonconforming" zoomers right now).
The last thing America needs now is compulsory military service in the rainbow reich. In case you somehow missed it, our military is now 100% pozzed. No good nationalist or populist would go anywhere near our armed forces.
People don't know how bad it really is. For a while under Trump the army was offering $250k signing bonuses for anyone with a combat deployment who had left the military and wanted to come back in.

The Polish response to the conventional war next door was announced just now, not involving any "aut-right drafted and going to war" complete nonsense of course: 2.5% GDP for defense in 2026, voluntary 1 year service for active reserve. Goal of 250,000 active regulars and 50,000 Territorial Defense. Weapons from America.
But Russian female politicians are in Putin's inner circle, including at the televised meeting of his council where they basically announced they went to the war (the only one who even tried to protest was a man, the terrified SVR chief).
The women then also all voted for the war in the parliament.

In any case, they will be just Russian men killing Ukrainian people and dying (not counting foreign fighters, and assorted foreign civilians caught in crossfire as did the people who fell from the sky in 2014). No British soldiers, drafted or not.

I was in the Air Force and got out in 04. I can’t believe how crazy the military has gotten.
