What point is the photo making? Is it the “history is being whitewashed” garbage that I’ve heard 1000 times? Interesting thing about history is that you are free to pick up whatever books you want or go online and research. If you depend on school to teach you everything that is their problem
I agree that schools do teach everything bad. Like with slavery I think it should be taught from a global perspective. So many educators just want to endless talk about every bad thing about the west
True. I remember Thomas Sowell had an open question to modern day “activists” about why they don’t try to help modern day victims of slavery instead of endlessly talking about slavery that ended over 150 years ago. I remember being very surprised when I first learned the scope of modern slavery/sex trafficking as well as when I learned in my early teens that African slaves were sold by Africans to the Europeans.
I want to know who was behind the democrats putting on that scarf to kneel for BLM. The scarf of the empire who ran on slavery, and sold slaves to the east to the arabs, and west to the Europeans.
Not just that, they mutilated the genitals of boys on an 800 mile land journey where less than 11% survived becaused eunuchs were worth just that much more to brown people
I remember being taught all the negatives. I lost sleep for the short time I was teaching 8th-12th graders US history because I was required to teach the negatives too. Out of fucking Howard Zinn no less.
I was in the deep south and I still got plenty of "slavery was the worst thing ever, the Confederacy were pure unredeemable evil who only wanted to be evil, and everyone from the South is racist retards."
In fact, every history class was Revolutionary War, Civil War, WW2 (Western Front only) on repeat forever until high school.
I learned about slavery and the Trail of Tears 100 times
Strangely, I was never once taught anything about the USSR besides the fact that they fought the Nazis. It wasn't until after I graduated high school that I discovered the full scope of the shit they did.
They already do. Although the descendants of the lady who was the model for Aunt Jemima we’re pretty pissed. Honestly all the issues in the world and this is what they wanted to focus on. But it’s the companies decision.
I mean, based on my experience its very likely that, as a black guy, he either didn't show up to school or made sure nobody learned anything while he was there.
The thing about artists is that they don't know anything about anything. Their entire life's work is dedicated to building their brand and gaining social status in the hopes of turning that into money. Maybe they can achieve the holy grail of art: being selected to launder money for jews and oligarchs.
Not a single one of them, no matter what their political views are, have anything useful to say about anything at all.
They have retard-tier critical reasoning skills. They are completely unequipped to understand the world.
No point in arguing with people like that artist. He is determined to believe he is oppressed. In my experience I ask them why they don’t move to a majority black country. Last person I said that to got pretty upset

They should teach that it is still occuring

Good question. Of course nobody wants to get angry at the empires/kingdoms that sold the slaves
Or the people who owned the ships that transported the slaves.

Same.
After going through public education, I think public school teachers simply shouldnt be paid or have unions.

Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben did need to get removed for racism. Quaker Oats sure is happy his complexion doesn't make him a racist symbol.
It seems like any day now, we'll be treating the party of the KKK and jim crow as saviors of the black man
They already do. Although the descendants of the lady who was the model for Aunt Jemima we’re pretty pissed. Honestly all the issues in the world and this is what they wanted to focus on. But it’s the companies decision.
The woke don’t actually care about black people, they care about sowing divisions.
Yea my parents taught me that luckily
The Actual Quakers have tried to get him removed numerous times. Every time its been treated as a complete joke and dismissed instantly.
And that's a specific religious group whose actual likeness is being used, instead of a vague likeness of a possible person.
There's two ways to have a greater legacy than MLK.
Either be a better person than him, or erase MLK so you can usurp his vacant spot.
I think we all know which option they chose.
Yet so many people still fall short, and they know it.
If they weren't exactly the people to already be doing those things, we wouldn't be having this issue.
What’s even more absurd are the many young black people who grow up in nice suburbs who have been brainwashed to think they are oppressed
I mean, based on my experience its very likely that, as a black guy, he either didn't show up to school or made sure nobody learned anything while he was there.
So it stands to reason he truly doesn't know.
Fuck this guy and his Comfort Inn art.
Hey now that's insulting to Comfort Inn and their tastefully appointed yet affordable suites.

Looks like a beautiful white wall.
"Why would Hillary do this?"
How nice of that woman to paint black people.
Can someone edit him getting painted over. That seems hillarious.
Niggers are an embarrassment to society.
