Precedent does not mean settled law. Anyone with half a brain cell who actually read Roe v. Wades ruling would know it was horrendously written and completely unconstitutional. These retards are basically screeching “settled science” on something that has changed drastically since it was incepted.
If this happens it will lead to an actual attempt to pack the court. This would be like threatening the Holy Communion for Catholics. This isn't even an exaggeration. A bunch of protesters took the Plan B pill in front of the Supreme Court building. "This is MY body." Hopefully trying to pack the court will be an overreach that they can be punished for.
Good, hopefully he does. It was bad law in the first place. The activist scum of the judiciary spun a brand new "civil right" out of thin air, for which there is simply zero Constitutional basis.
Repealing Roe v. Wade is literally bare minimum level legal competence that I expect from a lawyer. Anyone who sincerely reads this decision cannot support it, even if you support abortion. It's garbage and it should have never been made.
Yeah there's plenty of Supreme Court precedent for mandating vaccines for the army, kids, and for other body mandates.
So what's the real reason to overturn abortion? Well it's a giant switch to activate millions of liberal voters who thought it was safe and got lazy about politics.
I think what we're looking at here is a deep state that's facing a destabilizing 2022 tsunami in which there's a supermajority in at least one house and are burning their emergency brakes one after another. You can't just put a finger in the dam of populism, and the rulers have gotten so far away from the People that we're coming at them from all sides.
I kinda feel like they're going to appeal ot just to give the political parties something to fight about that doesn't dive into the hate group crap they left has gotten into.
Like they need something to politic on, and obviously run out they've turned things into a shit show.
Until the decision is made, I'm not going to care one way or another about what is signaled or implied or anything else.
What?
That's a ridiculous view to hold.
There's a massive difference between constitutional law and case law.
You cannot compare the 2nd amendment to the decision reached in Roe v. Wade. They aren't in any way similar.
Big difference there, Hoss. For example, women can't shoot their unaborted babies in protest, while gun owners...

Plan B won't be banned.
I can 100% guarantee that...unless the whole argument is actually much more complex than this and red lights are flashing about population crashes.
If it is, it means the wealthy "elite" are trying to finally end the feminist experiment, whether they like it or not.
Do they have enough power left?
They want this to happen.
accelerate

I lol’d. Kavanaugh is a coward. He’ll do nothing but bend the knee.
This will be used to strip the right to bodily autonomy, opening the gates for federally enforced injections.
Nobody has pointed to Roe v Wade to make the argument against vaccines.
They know they'd lose.
Judges are cowards who will never use their bench to enshrine a ruling from a conservative perspective.
EVERY activist judge is a leftist.

Nobody took "my body my choice" as an anti-vaccine argument seriously. It was just a snipe at the mostly female, mostly leftist vaccine pushers.
