Can you imagine the administration of the Holy See allowing something like this in the Sistine Chapel?

Yes, the pope isn't Catholic.

"Is the Pope Catholic?"

Once a statement of blinding obviousness, now a genuine question.

VaccinesMachtFrei 11 points ago +11 / -0

Already answered too he's a literal Jesuit.

I don't know enough about religion to know what that means.

I just find it odd how the last Pope resigned and was replaced by this puppet of every feminist agenda.

Basically the first attempt by the relatives of the Pharisees that killed Christ to subvert Christianity.

TheImpossible1 2 points ago +3 / -1

But what's the difference?

Jesuits are like that cult in Assassins Creed. Gods Assassins some people call the Jesuits. Pretty much a "Christian" version of Freemasonry. Did the dirty work for the Catholic church and theres still arguments today who controls who. They helped the Catholic church persecute Christians that didn't follow the Roman way.

Catholicism is still a "church", Jesuits are more like an "order" or something like that.

That doesn't really answer my question, what do they believe differently?

The Church of England sprung out of the desire for divorce to exist, for example.

A heretic cannot be pope. Jesus commanded that any Catholic who does not obey the Church is to be treated like a heathen. The Magisterium only guarantees that the people have been told the whole truth which applies to all ages and societies. It does not guarantee that a person will never become a heretic.

And in the case of the Vatican II, those pagans chose to abandon God and the Holy Ghost does not reside in them. They are clearly not Catholic. Those that choose to remain within the Vatican II are chosing to follow man and externals not God. Although the excuse of trying to maintain the Latin Mass and general appearance of a Catholic Church is quickly becoming irrelevant as Francis bans the Latin Mass.

It matters more that one obey the Church and stay home than attend a heretical sect with only the appearance of the Catholic Church.

My mother is Catholic, she'd probably understand this better than I would.

Is he a heretic because he's a leftist puppet who believes in bullshit like climate change and the Covid vax?

If you have the time then I highly recommend watching this video as it is a very detailed explanation of what is happening in Rome.

However, the short version is that the Vatican II’s core belief is that man is God. They believe that you and I are Christ, the same Christ that died on the cross. This is a heresy and goes against Catholic teachings which is why the Vatican II must be rejected by Catholics. Here are two short videos with a detailed explanation on this core belief and how it came to be.

Aside from that, there are numerous doctrinal issues with the Vatican II from the fact that it was supervised by six Protestant ministers to the World Prayer of Peace where John Paul II, while professing that every man is God, assembled all the religions of the world before him to practice their rituals. And this was done at the Vatican on October 27, 1986.

I feel like the Antichrist would be someone a bit more frightening than a weak old man from a commie hell-hole.

He's just a true believer in the failed ideology of his home.

Yeah I am literally expecting this pope to paint over Da Vinci with some stupid woke nonsense like any day now.

Or Christian.

Everything must conform to liberal capitalism, including Christianity. Kinda what happened with Paganism historically.

At this point, might as well call it a humiliation ritual given there isn't much difference.

I feel like I've always had a hard time visualizing Paganism. It's basically earth worship right?

7
Mpetey123 7 points ago +7 / -0

Isn't Pagan a catch-all for any faith outside of Christianity?

3
NihilistCaregiver 3 points ago +3 / -0

But that doesn't make sense because Islam and Buddhism aren't Pagan right?

almond_activator 3 points ago +3 / -0

I believe "paganism" is primarily applied to polytheistic Gaia-centric belief systems. Buddhism is polytheistic, but does not have a god of the skies, a god of the seas, a god of lightning, a god of beasts, etc. as most of the Indo-European pagan systems had (have? I am assuming that there are no unironic pagans, and those who claim to be are just edgelord atheists with a bit of stubble below the jawline).

Islam is a sex cult built around a scaffolding of stolen Judeo-Christian myths, adapted to fit Mohammad's need to get his dick wet and keep it that way.

I guess it would depend on the Christian you asked and what time period. I believe pagan at first began with Roman Christians deriding traditional Roman polytheism and any non-Christian belief system.

Its mostly used to describe tribal, decentralized religions that were extinct until modern contrarians brought them back. One of the most important signifiers that it counts as pagan in the modern era is that "no one seriously believes this in any major numbers."

Because most pagans now are generic witches or Norse LARPers who aren't anything but a loose association of pretend players who could barely define their own faith.

Kinda I guess. It depends on the variation and politics. Some of it has been (unfortunately) infested by rad libs, but not all of it, while some of it (such as with Rodnovery) it's not extremely connected to history since there isn't much that's known about native ethno religions other than what was "adopted" by Christianity, survived through folk culture/stories, etc.

Rodnovery is fairly ethnocentric, and thus bothers rad libs/libs and even the Church. E.G.:

A conference explicitly dedicated to counteract the spread of Rodnovery was held in March 2016 at the Magnitogorsk State Technical University; on this occasion, bishop Innokenty of Magnitogorsk and Vekrhneuralsk said that Slavic Native Faith constitutes "a greater threat to the Church than atheism". Vladimir Legoyda, succeeding Vsevolod Chaplin as president of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Ministry, said that the spread of Slavic Native Faith among the military constitutes "a direct challenge to the Church."

Survive the Jive has made several decent videos on the subject of paganism:

It's any religion that did not originate from the Hebrew religion.

It can always be burned down again, I guess.

Goddamn the Muslims who burned it down and goddamn the French politicians for letting them into France in the first place

Edit: And whoever's in charge of the Notre-Dame repair and "renovation."

Remember that they hate you, they hate your culture, they hate everything you believe in, and they want you dead, replaced, and forgotten.

Christianity is dead. Christ will be returning soon, certainly.

Disney donated at least $5mil to the rebuild (not making that up. It’s one of the first results when you search about this!!), so is anyone REALLY surprised that came with strings attached??

It’s almost exactly like Munger Hall/s. “I/we will give you the money, but you have to build/decorate it EXACTLY as we say…”

There’s been discussion since at least January last year (again, see the many, many articles on this) that various groups, including le Disney and various other “postmodernist” architects, were mounting somewhat of a “tug of war” over the direction of the restoration, so… Clearly Disney just had the deepest pockets. 😞

Sacrilege. Woke capitalism certainly isn’t above that. At all.

But hell, if they can’t stop this, in FRANCE, of all places, then… I guess the whole West is lost.

Jesus, that’s a hell of a blackpill, OP. After everything else the last couple of years, it really is… 😑
