I mean, the modern "church" ignores most of the Bible, but they completely excise verses like 1 Timothy 5:8, Luke 22:36, Matthew 10:16 and pretty much everything in Revelation.
i read or heard something about the way people used to strike others denoted respect or disrespect, and that forcing them to use a certain hand meant them implying you were their equal.
If a Christian newspaper interviewing Christian priests doesn't think it's worth mentioning that the refugees are only drawn from the 0.1% of the population that are Christian, it's because they're not. Instead it talks about existing Afghan-American communities, and not the way you would talk about communities of German-American Nazis when resettling Jewish refugees.
Many Christian groups have been subverted by the same sort of bad actors sneaking into government and academe. Part of this has been unknowingly from trying to be more "hip" and "modern" in the chase for more congregants, part from willful subversion on the part of the seminaries educating new generations of pastors and theologians.
This is from what I've seen as a heretic Protestant. We of course know the Roman Catholic Church is absolutely pozzed. Even a lot of Catholics know that lol
I hear the Orthodox are alright but we have like, 5 or 6 total in the US so hell if I know.
Fake Christians continue to virtue signal. Just like “don’t lump us all in with X” you’re limping 50% in with the minority. Lowest common denominator thinking there....
Isn’t there a parable about this in the Bible? I’m pretty sure it takes a dim view on selling out your own neighbors for the benefit of violent foreigners.
I hate to say it, and it had a good run, but Christianity is a cucked religion. To be specific, the non-cucked elements of Christianity have been eliminated.
Historically, Christianity has ALWAYS had an emphasis on poverty, charity, etc. There has ALWAYS been a tension between the feminine and the masculine in Christianity. The masculine has been rooted out, and the feminine dominates.
Go to your average Protestant church in America today. Listen to the sermon. Chances are the description of Jesus given by the church makes him sound like a real dreamboat; the perfect boyfriend! He's gentle, and caring, and loving, meek and mild. The "edgy" parts of Jesus, his anger, his righteousness, and his harsh attacks on the elites of his day are gone. Revelations and the amazing Christian mysticism is gone. Not PC. Eliminated. It's pretty much part of the narrative today that Jesus would be a democrat and a socialist and yadda yadda yadda.
I've always considered myself culturally Christian but I've never been a practicing Christian. Several years ago I tried to find a church for my family. I couldn't deal with it. My wife was grew up Catholic. She stopped attending church--hasn't been back a single time--since she found out her childhood priest spent several years fondling boys.
Only God's anger is righteous. Jesus was a man, like us. (also not like us, being begotten of God, but you understand what I'm saying)
We are not to be angry, because we are not gods ourselves and cannot judge with our own judgment, only God's judgment. All we can do is discern evil, and forgive. That's not to say we can't take action like flip tables either, just not out of anger. Personally, I interpreted that as Jesus making a point about wrongdoing, in the same way that you might condemn someone's actions or rebuke them without necessarily feeling anger towards them. I might take a drunk's beer and smash the bottle on the ground, or destroy a junkie's needle, and not feel strongly about it one way or another. I just see that something needs to be done and do it.
Hate is the opposite of love, and anger is only another word for hatred. People like to tone down words to make them more palatable. Like you might see "resentful" or "bitter" instead of "angry" or "hateful", but the spirit is the same.
Ephesians 4:31-32 is clear imo:
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
From what I was reading of an article linked from that one (which elaborates a little) and what I can put together, there's no...EMM (Episcopal Migration Ministry) in Wyoming? So they're hoping this helps jump start one out there.
Apparently what these things are is a refugee resettlement outpost of sorts.
However, they're practically 99.5% funded by the Federal government. Which is probably what this is about - a bunch of opportunists trying to get fed gimmes to play with out in bumfuck Wyoming.
Make them financially and/or criminally liable for any crime the refugees commit. Also make sure they are financially liable for their “health and well being”.
Backhoe: check
Pallet of lye: check
Yep! The "cowboy states" are ready.
"Are the cowboy states ready for refugees?"
You mean are my cowboy boots ready for curb stomping? Yeah I guess.
There's nothing Christian about today's churches.

Afghan Christians are forced into hiding to avoid being murdered for their faith, and this bishop welcomes their oppressors? Fuck this bastard.
How do you know that these aren't Christian Afgahns? I'd be willing to bet at least some are.

One of the biggest jewish lies is telling white people "It's the Christian thing to do."
No it's not. Bring back the crusades.
Ask Minnesota and Lutheran Social Services how this one ends.
Spoiler: you get corrupt commie fucks like Illhan Omar.
i still don't understand why that foreigner is allowed to hold office.

How sad.
Meanwhile Muslims 'refugees' are destroying churches all across europe.
That’s mostly because men have failed and bailed out on society, giving control over to women. Btw Jesus never had anger.
Anger. I always figured that when Jesus overturned the money changer's tables at the Temple that he had righteous anger. I could be wrong.

Watch how fast their doors close.
send in the national guard, ship them back.
no invaders means no invaders.
Churches are so bad.
