Robots? All robots are neuter. It, das, to, les, etc. Calling them anything else is nothing more than empty courtesy, because they're fucking machines.
The only exceptions are robots that are obviously anthropomorphized or otherwise made to be masculine or feminine. Androids and Gynoids, essentially.
They're still machines.
One of the many small reasons I wouldn't watch Solo is because there is apparently a droid that identifies as some gender.
But I now understand why the pub owner on Tatooine was so based about droids.
When you think about it, can you name even one droid that doesn't have some behavioral knack that is bound to drive you up the wall?

Nah, robot (robot... we came up with that) and machine (stroj) are both masculine in my language. Device (zařízení) would be neuter, but that's what you'd use for a part of an automated assembly line, not a robot character.
