As a woman I spent most of my working life in 'men's' jobs because I hate working indoors and I hate office politics. That pretty much left me with doing men's work. I always liked it. I wasn't fucking "empowered", they were good jobs with a good paycheck.
An honest days' work for an honest days' pay
I'm old fashioned. Just a blue collar worker.
P.S. I didn't downvote you, this sub has its own peanut gallery of trolling feministas.
Girlwriteswhat years ago uploaded videos talking about women in history who made careers in male dominated fields. She did this because she is a anti-feminist who wanted to blow holes in their claims of women always being held down and held back.
I think most of us men don't have an issue with women who want to work in whatever area they want to with the obvious exceptions of jobs that the vast majority of women are a really bad fit. Such as police, fire, front line military, etc. Because these jobs are quite literally where lives are on the line.
Honestly the big problem is not that women are working (it is an issue but it is not the defining issue). The defining issue is that it is now literally men who are being held back and punished for just being born male. It is clearly wrecking the west and I don't mean just for men, I mean it is literally destroying the west.

After working in a few all male environments over the course of my career this is no longer the case for me. I don't care what field they work in so long as I don't have to work with them. All male work environments have proven to be more productive, more supportive both professionally and personally and to be perfectly frank they're more enjoyable. Women just destroy the dynamic that naturally emerges on a team of men. It's not even something they actively or maliciously do, the environment just doesn't take the same form when they are present.
Taxi driver, bus driver, UPS driver. I never pretended to be a man or some kind of tough customer, just a 5'4" chick who showed up and got the job done.
Also professional gardener, groundskeeper (on two continents) and plant nurseries. I hate working inside.
I really don't understand the downvotes to your comments.
Anyone who holds down consistent work in a respectable job while still retaining their gendered traits in today's society gets a respectful nod from me.
How could women gain money they didnt work for/destroy their ex who works in the same building and ruin his life/damage some man's career for flirting with her while being too ugly without sexual harassment law?
Empowering women made sense for a while. Women were not doing certain jobs because they thought they could not do it. Then they started doing jobs and the empowering should have ended.
Now we live in an twilight zone reality where women are getting empowered, claiming victimhood and being in power at the same time. Case in point, the local branch of my employer is 80% women and yet we have seminaries about women empowering and how we need more women in management.
Studies have shown that if men and women are left to hire whoever they want (without diversity/inclusion nonsense) men will hire men and women will hire women. I think the test cases came out to be 75% male with a male hiring manager and 80% female for a female manager. It’s just because both genders feel more comfortable hiring someone that has more in common with them.
I don’t see anything wrong with that (let them succeed or fail on their own), but again, it has to be fair for both sides. Diversity laws around the world prevent men from making certain teams with their hiring quotas, along with men being constantly demonized in most workplace discussions.
Depends, some women are more capable than men, others aren't. On average, yeah, women less capable, especially when it comes to physical requirements. Women also change the dynamic of the workspace, and I don't just mean with males and females " fraternizing", I mean they look to make sure everyone gets along, pressure people too, hire people who do the same, are less tolerant of people who think differently (who potentially make the breakthroughs). That does get in the way, on average, of men's good work. But you can't make the sweeping term of all women being less capable and getting in the way, when there's plenty of women who outrank plenty of men in ability. Lot of sub=par IQ men who could not do the job a female doctor is, nor add her value (not that female doctors don't also have a slew of problems, but I'm talking about core ability). No one should be made to hire anyone, nor force people to stop hiring someone (as long as that someone belongs in the country, i.e. not an invader). The empowerment thing is really just part of the movement to to get women to help tear down their own Western society, telling them they've been wronged, that they're great and deserve more, so attack your men. So, empowerment movement needs to end, but belittling your own women is not a good move either.
Nobody should "be empowered" they should empower themselves. Giving someone a bunch of unearned power is a surefire way to get them to abuse it.

My good sir, I have always been a lady. My grandmother taught me.

Anybody keeping traditional manners/etiquette alive inside Clown World gets a round of applause from me.
To play Devil's Advocate, there are plenty of men these days who aren't strong and capable either :^)
Im all for a women doing any job she qualifies for.
But not for quotas, different standards, or policy to make a work environment "more welcoming".
Do away with sexual harassment and discrimination laws and everything will balance out.

Well, here’s the reality to that statement:

Are women some sort of motor that requires electricity to work?
