"Journalism is not a crime", they say.

That's exactly the problem. It should be.

Yup. The "journalists" these days are entirely on the side of the gov and corporations and just read out premade talking points.

Democracies cannot function

bad journalism makes issue worse, but Arrow's theorem never went anywhere.

This isn't even new shit. Environmentalists of the last century loved doing shit like that. Edward Abbey, one of the most famous environmentalists, literally inspired the term "monkeywrenching" in 1975, which inspired groups like Earth First to start staking trees (which killed and maimed a bunch of people).

As always, their "radical solutions" are never clever or original. Its just angry idiots mirroring other angry idiots of the past who they didn't know about because those methods failed last time too.

I can respect Uncle Ted because he truly lived the life. Didn't half ass it or have incredible contradictions over dumb shit. Just straight up off the grid, in a cabin with little contact with the world until they fucked with his nature.

Unlike the hero Abbey up there who cries about how he could never kill a single animal ever, except for rabbits he sometimes shoots with rocks just to know what it feels like.

Remember that time when a psychotic jewish "environmentalist" launched five Soviet RPGs at a nuke plant in France, called it a "nonviolent protest" (I'm not joking), and proceeded to brag about it while the authorities didn't do anything about it? That was fun.

And that's how you get people who disagree with you to start setting forest fires to spite you.

They should start with the obscenely large server farms used by adtech / social media cartels.

These are non essential mega corporations with gigantic carbon footprints.
