The fact that we haven't already missile/drone-striked every cartel hideout into oblivion really shows how US politicians and the elites they serve benefit from the existence of the cartels.
Disagree. The reason looks to me to be the enormous amount of money to be made on drugs - take out half the cartels and people will have replaced them by next week.
At least based on what I have seen going down, I think that Fox is having the same "issue" as the Republican Party where the Neocons are still trying to hold on to power, but they are getting eaten from the inside out by the Populist, and said Populist are more than happy to get cheeky beeky and do creative things to screw with the powers that be.
