Eh, there's some inconsistency on that front. The Jotuun as ice giants is more of a Marvel trope than accurate to the mythos. In the actual mythology it's fairly ambiguous to the point where there is reasonable speculation that they simply represent another competing tribe, similar to how the Aesir and the Vanir were warring factions before uniting.
I know there's at least one instance of one of the Aesir courting a Jotuun/giant. If I recall correctly it was some minor guy but he got loaned Freyr's sword which is why he doesn't have it come Ragnarok.

If they do is clear they want to target kids to force this blackwashing as reality. Not so long ago my wife was surprised that Medieval England did not have black people and definitely not nobility. So the rewriting of history is working.

Either way I don't understand why anyone who knows videogames could be excited for this, gameplay wise it looks like a DLC for the first game, which was the very definition of mediocrity. God of War ended with Ascension, this dumbed down, borderline unplayable cinematic garbage is God of War in name only.
