The (small c) conservatives have been a non-party for years (why do you think our prime minister is still a man-sized, talking vagina?). Bernier recognized this which is why he started the PPC.
People like to say "oh, they'll never win, they're too new and small". That's what they said about the reform party in the 90s just before they overtook and basically absorbed the old progressive conservatives.
Canadian politics are weird (we have a whole national party dedicated to secession from Canada). Stuff like this can and does happen.
Don't fall for the "they'll never win" blackpill or you may as well vote for Castro.
I'm an emmigrant, and have lived outside of Canada for more than 5 years. I'm not allowed to vote anymore.
EDIT: I just researched the rules again, and it seems they've changed since I last voted (2 years ago?) and I can now vote again. Be right back, registering to vote.
This means that the people are going to have to start standing up for themselves. To quote Chris Sky "just say no"
So the same as in Australia, basically..?
Yeah, I think this might be the end of "electoral/representative democracy"... Or at least it won't be, but it should be, clearly... :-/
PPC are the best but that's not saying much at this point.
Erin O'Toole is just a older version of Trudeau at this point
Does this guy do anything other than let the left give it to him in the ass?
Sorry Canada, you can vote for whatever lizard you want, you're still getting a lizard.
Imagine still thinking we arent being ruled by a single uniparty
Democracy was a mistake. People don't have principles, they just do whatever the person next to them is doing. I'm surprised we lasted this long.

PPC is the only option. Fortunately they're also the best one

PPC, but don't expect them to get any seats.

PPC is really starting to look like the only option.
Yes, the one that makes emigration easier. Come home to Florida.
