The difference is that conservatives have Fox and whatever websites the left hasn't managed to get taken down, and the left has everything else, including social media that people actually get their news from if they're under 50. This argument completely ignores the fact that shit holes like Facebook serve as a filter for so many people, and that those filter sites are completely controlled by leftists.
