Islam recognizes women are incapable of taking care of themselves, requiring men to take care of them. Once they are mature, it’s time for the father to get a break and have some suitable, responsible young male pick up the responsibility.

Age of consent was 14 in Canada untill like 15 years ago when Conservatives changed it to 16.
So if the outrage is because of the 15 part and not the forced part, it is misplaced outrage.
I read that it was changed to 16 due to complaints about online sex harassment.
