Well, for one the Americans were told to "shelter in place" while the Afghans rushed there (and still do, more and more, but now kept away by the Taliban and the airport garrison both). Also simply total chaos. Like this plane that people fell from actually left with no one inside at all, others go back without even landing.

You know more than 60,000 Afghan troops died fighting in only the last few years after 2014? For a comparison, the Americans quit after only over 2,000 KIA since 2001 (more died on 9/11), and during the same period less than 70.
America fled, and then surrendered practically without a fight (only very limited airstrikes in the last weeks) after taking roughly 1,000 times less fatalities then the Afghan troops did, and then you smugly talk about a willingness to fight.
