So if I'm interpreting this right, the entire post is about protecting people on the other side of the world from getting upset?
I suppose I should look into what's going on there, all I've seen is the Twitter trolling or whatever and I'm not basing my opinion on the situation itself on what was on Twitter.
Zero to do with Biden and everything to do with suppressing news on the decades of failure from the unelected bureaucrats that make up the military industrial complex.
Per Google:
Jennifer Cafarella is the inaugural National Security Fellow at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a position created to sponsor rising national security leaders
I guess this is some media influencer? I predicted yesterday that we won't see the "Fall of Kabul" on the cover of Time the way they covered Saigon. The media will censor it. If that's true, this will be their excuse.
The goal appears to be to control public discourse and censor any narrative not progressive-approved. I tend to believe they really don’t care about emotions feelings whatever. They care about the control of information and this is a means to that end.
To be fair, without going into TheImpossible1 territory... Some of the worst bullies I have encountered have been "progressive" "activist" young women, who spend far too much of their time virtue signalling online...
I've had, ooh, at least 4, now, try to ruin my life, when I was no longer useful to them...
And yet they spend SO MUCH of their time posting on social media about "bullying" or "helping children" or "saving the planet" or "look how fit I am now", or "I'm so queer, look at me!!!" and the simps lap it up... And then they go off and become head of an NGO, or work for a think tank, or run progressive events/conferences...
It's horrible to admit, but I think that's a big part of how I ended up so blackpilled (post, uhh, multiple suicide attempts), and I don't think I would be alone on that, in this forum, which is just... Depressing... :-/
So from experience, uhh, yeah. Yeah I think you may be right. Sadly. :-S
To add to this: if I had my time over again, I would have stood up to all those women FAR more than I ever did, "back then" (some of it wasn't that long ago), even if doing so had consequences, of some sort, for me...
Because if you don't, these young women become the Jennifers and Gretas of this world, or they go off and work for the WEF on "The Great Reset", or they become government advisors, or they go to the Hague. Or they become like Jen Psaki...
If you don't STOP the bullies, when they come for you or your friends, you become just another step on their path to power. I wish I was joking, but... That's just been my experience. And it ALWAYS holds...
I didn't choose the blackpill, the blackpill chose me.
I looked up what seems to be the condition, secondary trauma syndrome (or emotional fatigue). According to the Administration for Children & Families, this is a condition found in people who's job involves working with people suffering from trauma. So, watching the news, according to them, is on par with being a trauma or working with abused children.
To be fair, I'm horrified, and terribly disappointed, by it. But I a) don't work for the system that caused this situation, or have any influence in this whatsoever, and b) do not claim any sort of "trauma", or desire ANY "sympathy", or whatever...
I just feel fucking awful for the Afghan people who were betrayed by your absolute dog of a president, AGAIN, and who will suffer because of decisions made by a bunch of fucking bureaucrats on the other side of the world. I don't AVOID it, or hide from it, because it's the fucking truth. So... I think she is a fucking selfish, horrible person, to make this about her, and I think that is fucking disgusting, but I also don't agree, at all, that people shouldn't find the whole thing fucking "upsetting" or "depressing".
Put your tribal loyalties aside. It is both of those things. But it's not about how I, or you, or any other foreign observer "feels". It's about the fact that people are literally dying, and children are being raped, forcibly married off, and killed, because ol' handsy Joe decided it would be politically expedient to completely fuck up The Empire's cut and run from a country of brown people on the other side of the world, lol...
To stop those bad images, 1, 2, 3, here's a fresh new way that's trouble free. It's got Jennifer Cafarella's guarantee. Guarantee void without Hennessy.
The suffering of others is like a movie to them. It's bad because it makes her sad, like the movie mad her sad until she got to her bottle of chardonnay.

It's really just to bury Xiden's failures.

Yes - that’s my understanding of how fragile these people have made themselves
The way it is talked about seems to imply these fragile creatures are going to get second hand PTSD and would try to not share the info.
Makes you wonder if it is trauma they are avoiding? or simply avoiding bad news while Biden is keeping his seat warm.
These people are either sociopaths who feign what they think emotions are, or they're completely broken.
Why not both?

How weak are people that they get upset and depressed over this shit
The devil makes work for idle hands

Says the histrionic woman. Honk.
They really took that 'liberalism is a mental disorder' joke and ran with it.
