... is three separate vaccines recommended practice anywhere or does this count as stupid games, stupid prizes?
Stupid games, stupid prizes. At most you're going to get recommended a single round of the two-dose variant, one now and one in 3-6 weeks. After that there should be no reason why a person should need a separate vaccine variant from another manufacturer, but there's morons out there that are collecting vaccine stamps like kids collect Pokemon. I guess they're using the logic of "if one vaccination is good then MORE IS BETTER".
These are the same morons that scream "FOLLOW THE SCIENCE" and believe that the Delta Variant spontaneously generated because everyone else didn't get vaccinated in time or weren't wearing masks.
That's probably why they stopped calling it the India Variant, because it's hard to blame Americans for India being a petri dish.
I figure that the whole Greek lettering version iteration is because they wanted to avoid the original right-wing stigma of COVID being labeled the Wuhan Virus or the Chinese Flu. They went so hard on the narrative against prior naming schemes (e.g. Spanish Flu) that there was no way they were going to let the Indian variant be branded by its location of origin.
No. With the exception of the Chinese vaccine they all use the same spike protein, so there's no point mixing it up.
They might all use the same spike protein, but minor contamination, instructional differences and just bodily overload (for example mRNA side effects, compounded with standard dead cell effects) can make all the difference.
It's why even if medication is very similar they recommend not mixing to be safe and that's for short term medication like pain killers.
For something that will sit in your system for months, years, indefinitely, yeah.
I still don't understand at this point how anyone could think masks work. They can hem and haw about compliance or whatever but when my area had a mask mandate it went from nearly 0 percent masks to nearly 100. Almost everyone gave them a chance. No inflection point in new cases followed, nothing, the climb stayed the same. In fact the only thing that had a real noticeable inflection point was the Kenosha riots which the "science" said were fine for reasons. "Oh why don't the unwashed masses believe us? Why do they distrust THE SCIENCE. Damn Drumphist."
He was part of the solution. Let's thank him for his sacrifice.

There's something about these people who "mix and match" vaccines I've never understood. There's supposed to be a database that everyone goes into where they indicate what vaccine you got and when you got it. At least I was of the understanding that was the case: it used to be at least you had to book appointments for these vaccines, and I thought the reason was so they could put you into the database.
So why does the big database not flag people as having already been vaccinated and not let them take it again? Or is there not a big database?
Only thing I can think of is maybe he got the J&J first since it's now seen as lesser, I've heard of people going and getting one of the other two and apparently that is allowed. I think due to how lucrative the vaccines are no one gives a shit how many you get as long as money flows.
A thought occurred to me as I was reading your comment: If they anticipated that boosters might be necessary, then they wouldn't want to program something into the database that restricted it to a single course of the same vaccine. And if they didn't know what the interval for boosters might be, then they wouldn't want to program any time restrictions between doses they might have to change later.
I don't like that thought, but it's one I could easily see the designers of that particular system having.
Yep. Honestly, nothing would surprise me at this point.
At the same time, perhaps I hope for too much when they're literally immune from being sued if they were to put gasoline in the needle instead of vax solution, but I'd think that medical professionals would take a meandering glance at a patient's medical history, for allergies at the least if nothing else, and notice "huh, something doesn't look right here..."
You must not be Canadian. We like to mix and match here.
There's no big database. I recall reading about people in the states hopping statelines and people on the east just flying to other countries.
I saw an article recently about people doing that, and some of them got their vaccines in other countries to avoid this. I'm sure if you tried hard enough though, you could manage to get vaccinated somewhere that doesn't bother to check.
Just vaxxmaxxer things
Sounds like the kind of dumbass who would overstuff himself with broccoli after hearing how good it's supposed to be, only to die of malnutrition when his intestines can no longer absorb any nutrients from the overabundance of fiber passing through them. Even if these medications were adequately tested and proven, taken them in excess would still be a dumb move because excess in anything is bad for you.
so, which one of vaccines was 3rd, eg one that is proven deadly?
Well he is right about one thing, hes not living in fear of the virus anymore
I'll never grave dance, but I'm not above some dark humor either...
I bet this dude was buried wearing a mask. It was the responsible thing to do.
No need to ask if a mask would help, since we already know the answer is no.
Body builder who abused steroids his entire life taking poison that causes heart problems and dies from it. Wow, never saw that one coming.
