I speak only for myself but I love my wife and being married has had an incredible net positive on my life. I do not know what makes a marriage work but I feel sorry for those who live alone or worse get divorced.

I loved my wife too; until she gutted me like a fish.

Now perhaps in a month or two I might get to see my daughter for an hour, under supervision of the authorities, while I fight the bullshit made-up accusations of child abuse. For the second time.

I am sure your wife will never use that gun she has held to your head. Never! She is Not A Woman Like That.

But she could. Any moment.

And if she does she'll get massive and far reaching social support for doing the right thing.

You've described my worse nightmare, thank you for that.

Duty makes marriage work. People today, primarily feminists, have this asinine notion that marriage is all about love and that you are supposed to wake up on a honeymoon everyday or get a divorce. Love plays a part absolutely, but it is a byproduct of successfully fulfilling ones duty. Duty to have children. Duty to raise, care for, and protect those children children.

Marriage is utterly pointless without children, regardless of exceptions that may exist.

While it's good to see this being talk about, I can't help but be worried. A majority of women still wish to be married, even though no man with a brain would want to marry them. It might just be women bitching on TikTok for now, but eventually they'll get the government involved.

Now, if we can just get the hipster, sjw, piercings and rainbow hair crowd to fucking die out without reproducing, we can get this world back on course.

That's why they're grooming other people's children; they can't have their own.

Oh, they do have them, but they are abused to shit.

Well there's secular marriage and religious marriage. You want to be secular, you get what you deserve. It's sad to see people who are religious get worked over, hard to avoid it to as many people are, ahem "religious", not religious in the true sense. Marriage, as it was, is good for men and women (seriously, healthy marriages ARE good for women's health too, not just men's, despite people throwing around that single women are healthier). It's also required in Christianity unless you want to be celibate. So marriage isn't a racket and shouldn't be thought of as such. it has major problems, especially for men and children. But it needs to be fixed, not eliminated.

No. In fact right now daily mail is drafting an article titled "why touching the hot stove is (secretly) good for you lol 💅"
