I actually had a thought that that was the real reason. If you can get the actual high performing demographics reduced, than your group won't look as bad for failing.

Also Highland Park is the home to key patriots that investigated the corrupt Dallas County election and helped push the Texas legislature to start election reform.
If it was really, they'd also be demanding that the parents donate a large portion of their child's college fund to scholarships for non-white students. After all, they're white privileged kids. Colleges will let tuition slide because of their skin color.
