So we had to raise the sticker price 20% so we have something to give, but then we were outside the scope on RFPs. Then, if there is a problem we have to go to their courts and we always lose no matter what and no international trade courts will ever do anything to stop China. Now before we even take a RFP it has to say they won’t negotiate price based on war and that if there is a dispute it has to be resolved in arbitration in neutral venues. Offering any conciliation to China and Korea was the biggest mistake we ever made, even worse than Pearl Harbor, because once people are given something for being a victim they expect something every time they complain which just leads to more and more complaints.”
This dude went to a top school in Japan and a M7 b-school so he’s no dumbass and he didn’t even open up until I told him point blank that I was a huge Orange Man backer and that the “hate” for him was vastly manufactured and overstated by fake news.

Keep in mind that Japan is notoriously slow to change and their right is pretty savvy about finding ways around this stuff like getting the Japanese SCOTUS to re-confirm that any tranny's who want to be legally recognized as their new mental illness must be sterilized, effectively ending that bloodline and since the last generation tended to only have 1 or 2 kids so it'll minimize the damage for a decent amount of time. The Olympics have to be held NOW because of the stupid idea that was the 2002 Fifa World Cup with Japan & Korea. They built huge stadiums in Japan for the occasion which simply are NEVER filled with just the domestic audience. These fell into disrepair over the years, but they wanted to get some use out of them. That's why they were somewhat renovated and gotten back up to beauty for the Olympics. That's why the Olympics HAVE to happen, cause otherwise they spent almost 20 years of investment on those stadiums for nothing. It's a case of sunken cost fallacy and wanting to make the best of what shit their predecessors built up, at this point. Once the Olympics and the World Cup are done with, the stadiums can basically be gotten rid of. There won't be another comparably huge event in Japan within the next 30+ years, particularly because the population will keep going down as well.
