With aliens, the audience roots for Ripley in part because they know what she knows, and what the bureaucrats and gung-ho professional soldiers don't listen to. It has something in common with the typical contemporary girl better than stinky boys thing, but without denigrating half the audience.

I disagree with the Drinker saying that women can't have an impressive, imposing physiques are the preserve of chaps. In my ideal marvel universe the ladies would have harder bodies, which might also please the journalists, but also more shiny catsuits, stiletto boots etc, which might not.
Until this happens, I can just continue to throw money at Kickasskandy and similar.

Although you don't want to ever age boxed wine, it is actually a very good system to avoid oxidation vs an opened bottle of wine. So, a better system for having, say, a glass with dinner each night without having to worry about killing an entire bottle to avoid the risk of the wine turning.
There are still tons of shit and cheap boxed wines, of course, but there are also some pretty solid offerings available, too.
