I’ll never understand why that is one mental illness that is celebrated. People who hear voices or have multiple personality disorder don’t have cheerleaders demanding that you accept their subjective reality

The multiple personality types have been on tumblr/twitter calling themselves 'plurals' and 'plural systems' for years already.
Considering that we've already reached the point where we're expected to pretend Downs Syndrome isn't something that should be terminated during pregnancy, it really wouldn't be too much of a leap if the next thing to be normalized was multiple personality disorder.

They should. In as greater numbers as possible. A final prenatal solution to the Downs question is eminently desirable for humanity.

I guess it's because it fits in so well with all the other gender and sexuality causes. Plus, the left needed something as outrageous as possible to top their previous causes. How else are they going to virtue signal their extreme tolerance and moral superiority?
It's also not exactly the first time they're trying to push transgenders. Happened during the Weimar republic, too.

Not just that, but it fits the one of their beliefs: sex and gender are two different things, and would be completely unrelated if society didn't socialize each sex into one particular gender. So, they point to transgender people and say that this is proof that their hypothesis is correct.
However, this ignores one key piece of evidence. In every human society, masculine males (to use their term) and feminine females have been the norm, even in societies that have some kind of transgender or nonbinary role. The probability that this would happen by chance are vanishingly small.
You can get anything celebrated if you have a strong enough political lobby.

Because that one mental illness is actually just pedophilia in disguise. And the proverbial they, the enemy we all fight, are heavily comprised of pedophiles themselves.
