What it shouldn't be, however, is a woke-filled hate-fest that retcons the shit out of the cartoon and stomps all over the source material. The pilot they filmed didn't get pulled because it was "too campy" - it got pulled because it took a massive, steaming shit on the girls and professor and tried to go hardcore with the ham-fisted wokeness, which didn't fly with the fans. They're not going back to the drawing board to remove the camp, they're going back to try and make the wokeness more subtle.
