It does do somebody favors though: People with no history of their own are easy to control. This destruction of white history is intentionally done by the powerful, so that they can better control whites.
The same justification exists for destroying culture, tradition and religion. These are forces that can stand against tyranny. When you have a people without history, culture, tradition and religion, there's only force - the will of the sovereign, namely the ruling oligarchy.

I would watch a movie about Guion Bluford. I'm an easy sell for astronaut movies, and it's a period of NASA's history that hasn't been done to death.
There's unfortunately the "hidden figures" problem where it would be likely that hollywood lefties would create fictional racist white people and segregation issues that never happened to "add" to the movie.
It's the same reason they race and gender swap beloved fictional characters instead of creating new non-white and female characters: the goal is destruction of white and male characters and stories, not the expansion of non-white and female stories. Similarly, white and male histories are under attack.
That sounds really stupid but it's not that much different than the reality. I kinda wish they'd make a show like that so everyone sees how ridiculous it is.

Because they are told that the “nuances” of power makes blacks lesser than whites, despite being vastly over represented in media and catered to by society. This is why the average liberal has more racist assumptions about black people than actual white supremacists.
Hypocrisy is literally all they have, because principles are nowhere to be found.
Reason is part of the Enlightenment which goes against their postmodernist bullshit take on history, that maybe the poor minorities were better off before colonialism, so before 1492, and before the Enlightenment. In other words, they don't rationalize, it's racist, and they get peer pressured into thinking this way. They're literally afraid of thinking thoughts.

Some blacks got their freedom fighting for the British during the revolutionary war and went to England with them after the war. Why not do a story about one of them? At least you have accuracy. I know there were a few Africans who where in Europe so why not research instead of putting blacks people in period pieces that make zero sense. They wouldn’t put a bunch of whites in a story about the ancient Chinese dynasties.
It's not about representation, it's about revenge and sadism.
There's no point for these people in making a movie about a heroic or interesting black character. Everyone would enjoy watching that. Which means the woke would find it uninteresting and boring.
There's no purpose nor pleasure unless someone or some group is attacked or humiliated. They derive joy out of doing to others what they have defined as immoral to do to themselves.
And the more people react the better. If they make some woke theater no one would care. But if they take people's history, that they care about, and wokify it, then they can lay in bed at night and for a moment feel something besides hate, bitterness, and anger - satisfaction and amusement as their brain virus rewards them for imagining that they have made someone else suffer.
Oh they want to, make no mistake. They just can't - because accusing Asians of racism doesn't change their behavior.

As screenwriters, woke writers don't seem to know how to write heroes any more.
Hell, they barely know how to write villains, churning out dreck that would embarrass a Saturday morning cartoon in it's simplicity.
If all you can write is cardboard-cutout villains, all you can do is try and tear people down.
