Mimic behavior is pretty amazing. I watched a guy have a pretty amazing phone conversation while waiting for a boat. The guy had everything so well done, and even had him responding to whatever was being said to him, it was hard to believe he was just some guy talking to nothing and standing in the middle of the waiting area. I mean, that was amazing acting.
Sort of like a lot of the folks who argue. They often use the same lines and ideas, even if they don't know of it works. The people they mimic said it, so they will too.
It's common enough that we forget we have it. Walking is mimic behavior. Babies watch others walk and decide to copy it. If they didn't see others walking, they wouldn't try.
Honestly, it does seem like a bit of an act. But, I'm fairly certain a lot of viral videos are acts or edited to look like things, so it's hard to guess.
