Anyone know if there is a decent alternative to Twitch? Want to get back into streaming, but don't feel like supporting woke assholes like Twitch.

D Live is the best Twitch alternative.
https://dlive.tv/
Trovo is another good Twitch alternative that I would recommend. It is small but the site is very functional and I think there is potential for growth.
https://trovo.live/
If you go to ReStream, you can stream to multiple stream to websites/apps at once.
https://restream.io/
Here is a how-to guide for ReStream. VOLUME WARNING. And I wouldn't normally pick a video that needs a volume warning but this is the only video I could find that gets to the point in a quick fashion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8vcCPLhh_g
Based on my limited experience with Trovo as a viewer, it's worse than both YouTube and Twitch. The stream isn't as robust and the embedded player on LoLeSports doesn't have the controls for volume and stream quality that you take for granted on other platforms.
I'd also have my concerns about when the other shoe is going to drop. Plenty of American platforms pretended to be pro-free speech until they were large enough to abuse their power, and I wouldn't expect any better from the same CCP that browbeats foreign airlines into pretending Taiwan is under CCP control.
dlive can no longer be trusted as the chain of ownership ties it to a prc company.
What is PRC?
Peoples republic of china
aka: mainland china
Ah damn, that is disappointing. Seems every god damn company had ties to the Chinese Communist Party these days :(
Not just a chain of ownership, but explicit actions towards censorship have already been done. Censorship Strikes Dlive, Jayden X Deep Dive
When did that happen?
Sweet, thanks for the recommendations :) gives me some homework to do.
I dropped Twitch and migrated to Trovo for the same reason.
Its owned by tencent but in this weird timeline you have more freedom under distant chinese commies than under closer american trannies. There are a lot of based streams on there but, so far, not a lot of viewers.
I've been thinking about giving streaming a shot. I'll have to look into this.
China has far greater freedom of speech than America right now, yet conservatives are itching to blame China for our own homegrown Bolsheviks. American communism was imported... from Europe. In the 30s.
the bolsheviks were exiled to, radicalized in and financed from ... the us.
D-Live is what I've seen many people use.
Stream.me was a great place until they shut down. Had some really great innovations going for it.
D-Live is probably the largest current alternative, but I've been keeping an eye on Glimesh.tv as an up-and-comer.
i use Trovo. but is full with foreign languages
It's sad that you were downvoted...
Because it's irrelevant to the question.
"Hey man, I've been looking for a good movie to watch"
"Pssh, why would you want to just watch a movie when you could read a book, play vidya, or work out?"
Twitch is less like looking for a movie to watch, more like shopping for a weird personality cult to join.
Sure it might not be what OP asked for, but it doesn't make voicing concerns about it's benefit for viewers mental health as stupid as worrying about movies, the pseudosocial interaction on twitch is a much more seductive trap for vulnerable people than any passive medium.
