Lol, medical journals and the peer review process has become a joke. This is to be expected when healthcare’s next big money funnel is adding in social services to everything they do. All the most regulated fields magically pump out the most toxic and blatantly false journals, but because they have political/ woke protection they never face scrutiny. They’re literally teaching medical ai to take a patients self pain rating over radiologists findings, because apparently not having enough ligament and tissue damage to qualify as having arthritis doesn’t mean the patient doesn’t have arthritis, as long as they say their knee hurts badly enough, oh and radiology is racist now too, because the majority of people complaining of having more pain were poor blacks. Shockingly poor people rate their pain as higher than non poor people despite race, but no one could fathom why, as they prescribe opioid pain killers that sell in the hundreds on the streets.
Here is the thing. I don't trust journalists, ever. The people who gravitate towards being journalists seem to always be the type of people who are convinced they need to be heard, but are the people that should never get heard. It attracts personality disorders and shitty human beings.
