I assume that everyone is scared about being called a racist and decided to throw the proud boys under the buss. Do regular Canadians realize how powerful the left media is, they act like mafia using fear as a tactic to control the ruling parties.
Articles like this make me so freaking glad we had Trump, he has made it clear the hypocrisy and manipulations of the media and being called a racist, ism or phobic does not carry as much weight as it used to. This is why they are going to try everything for the next few years to destroy his name. They MUST make Trump supporters nazis and they MUST discredit him and anyone who supported him so that no one picks up the mantle ever again.
It doesn’t help that Americans have been convinced that Canadians are the nicest people, which only fuels how much of a condescending asshole Canadians are.
I'm from Canada. I try to tell people online as much as I can that Canadians are a bunch of smug assholes. Maybe Canadians were "nice" a few generations ago, but that ship sailed a LONG time ago. It's a reputation we really don't deserve anymore.
I do the same thing. Modern Canadian identity is 100% reliant on the USA and is basically all about circle jerking about how we are supposedly just better in every way to the US. I can't stand it.

Canadians (especially Torontonians) have always been smug passive-aggressive liberal cowards at least for as long as I've been cognizant.

similar to how British used to have a reputation of being classy but now a lot are very classless. Its really sad
