Andrew Noymer, a University of California, Irvine associate professor of population health and disease prevention, said people often look to California’s status as a deep blue state to suggest that left-leaning residents uniformly agree with lockdown protocols and believe in staying home. But that ignores a large share of residents who feel otherwise, even if they aren't a majority. “In politics, 40 percent doesn't carry the day, but 40 percent can drive the epidemic," Noymer said. "California is deep blue, but … from the virus’s perspective, we're a lot more purple than people give us credit for."

Or... you know... the virus doesn't discriminate based on politics?

Those inner city people of science would never flout the recommendations of our public health experts. It has to be the drumpf supporters

"We’re not through this crisis," he said. "It’s too early for a postmortem analysis of what worked and what didn’t.”

No, it's not.

Lockdowns. Do. Nothing. (Well, nothing in terms of viruses anyway. They cause a ton of non-virus problems).

You don't get to try the same thing over and over for a year, show no positive benefits at all in that time, and then say "well, its too soon to tell, we must keep doing the same thing, only harder!"

Especially when the disease runs its course in 2-5 weeks for nearly every infectee. There are 52 weeks in a year, that's a minimum of 10 viral lifespans. That's a lot.

For the record I live in TN, the state that ranked worst in the country in the past couple weeks for new cases. We're doing dick outside of politely asking for masks in public. Right behind us is California, a fucking prison state.

Globalist communists finally found a trigger that works even better than identity politics: pandemic politics.

Be thankful they're not "culling" the way they do any time a chicken or a pig gets the sniffles.

I wouldn't be too sure of that.
